3D PRINT unveils young talented companies pushing further the limits of additive manufacturing with the Start-up Contest!


The Start-up Contest puts the spotlight on young companies offering revolutionary solutions in additive manufacturing. They compete for the prize of the most innovative start-up in additive manufacturing.

Discover all the companies that have won the Start-up Contest award, which has been rewarding the most innovative start-ups in additive manufacturing since its creation in 2018.

2023 - AKI3D INNOVATION

The winner of the 2023 edition of 3D PRINT is the young Parisian start-up AKI3D! Founded by a physiotherapist, orthopedic orthotist and an emergency physician, AKI3D aims to eliminate the need for plaster by offering a custom-made resin limb immobilization solution, produced using LCD 3D printing. This innovative solution is aimed at all types of patient requiring fixed limb immobilization in an emergency.

The "Coup de Coeur" prize was awarded to PCST Digital Lab, an Italian start-up operating in the fashion sector, offering innovative and sustainable clothing collections thanks to additive manufacturing.

2022 - POOLP

By proposing a 0-waste production process that is part of a circular economy approach, the French start-up POOLP wins the prize for innovation in additive manufacturing on this 2022 edition. Founded in 2020, POOLP has developed a 3D XL printing technology transforming plastic waste, recycled and biosourced plastics into high value-added products for a 100% circular production.

The Jury also wished to award its “Coup de Coeur” prize to the start-up MINORGA which proposes a stone thread for FDM printing composed of 80% Occitan marble.

2021 - LA PATISSERIE NUMÉRIQUE

For its first Parisian version, the Start-up Contest highlighted a facet of additive manufacturing that combines technology and cooking with the designation of LA PÂTISSERIE NUMÉRIQUE as the most innovative start-up in 2021. This company created in 2019 offers tools and services to invent new pastry creations thanks to 3D printing.

2019 – LATTICE MEDICAL

In a friendly atmosphere, the start-ups competing for the most Innovative project integrating 3D Printing. The Jury members rewarded LATTICE MEDICAL for developing a “Matisse” bioprosthesis allowing natural, personalized breast reconstruction in a single surgery.

The Jury rewarded a “Coup de Cœur Prize” to the Start-up MESSAGE IN A BUBBLE, which brings the solid soap up to date, making it customisable and unique.

2018 - FEEL OBJECT

For the first time, the show launched a new competition that highlighted some fifteen French and international startups. After deliberation, FEEL OBJECT unanimously wins the 1st edition of the Startup Contest. 3D PRINT is proud to introduce a startup that aims to make the lives of visually impaired people better.
