Our CSR initiatives

3D PRINT commits to a sustainable future

The 3D PRINT exhibition is deeply committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
With 3 concrete commitments, the exhibition is committed to continuous improvement in order to contribute to a sustainable, ethical and socially responsible future!

1. Reducing our environmental impact

We are adopting sustainable practices in the organisation of the exhibition by reducing energy consumption, promoting environmentally-friendly transport and raising participants’ awareness of the importance of the environment.

Wastes

  • Exhibitors are offered selective collection of cardboard and wood during set-up and dismantling.
  • Selective collection is also offered to visitors throughout the exhibition, with sorting bins located throughout the exhibition.
  • All sorted waste is then sent to the appropriate recycling centres.
  • Every year we strive to increase the proportion of our waste that is recycled.

Facilities (stands, energy, etc.)

  • We have reduced the surface area of carpeted walkways by 30%.
  • The cleaning products used during the exhibition are environmentally friendly.
  • The furniture and partitions used for the equipped stands and in the common areas of the exhibition are re-used from one year to the next.
  • The suppliers of the wood used for the partitions are FSC or PEFC certified.
  • All the stands equipped by the exhibition and the common areas (conferences, Business Club, etc.) use LED lighting.
  • Glass bottles left on exhibitors' stands each evening will be recovered and recycled.

Transport

We encourage our visitors and exhibitors to use public transport, soft mobility solutions and car pooling.

Marketing tools

  • Printed documents have been reduced in size and can now be accessed digitally using QR codes.
The furniture used to distribute the visitor tools is reused from one edition to the next.
  • Invitations are no longer printed but only sent by email.
  • The lanyards and plastic badge holders supplied to exhibitors and visitors will be collected at the end of the exhibition.

Catering services

Our catering service providers are also committed to ongoing sustainable development initiatives.
  • Glass and porcelain crockery is used in the restaurants
  • Disposable tableware made from biosourced, natural and biodegradable materials is used at points of sale and during services.
  • Waste management with reinforced and recycled selective sorting: bio-waste (collected by Ecovalim), cardboard/paper/plastic, common industrial waste and glass (collected by Véolia), plastic and cork stoppers (collected by the association Coeur2bouchons).
  • Reducing waste: optimised stock management and partnerships with local charities (Le chaînon manquant and Hop Hop Food).
  • Production favouring the purchase of local or French-origin raw materials

2. Social involvement

One of the many social initiatives undertaken by the Infopro Digital group is its commitment to the «Nos Quartiers ont du Talent» association, which works to promote equal opportunities.
It helps young graduates from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to enter the job market.

3. Continuous improvement

CSR is a process of continuous improvement. We regularly assess our CSR practices and perfor- mance in order to implement corrective actions and make progress towards our objectives.
We also seek feedback from our stakeholders to help us strengthen our approach and meet expectations effectively.
